Episode 10 – How Faith & Love Align to Create a Lasting Marriage
As a Christian, the core of my faith, is Christ.
As it relates to married life, my love for my spouse is at the core of that relationship.
Like your faith, Your love’s growth & effectiveness has a direct correlation to its use, and to the degree in which you put it to work.
James 2:17 – … faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead.
As we nurture our love, as we take action on it, as we grow our love…. we have a richer, fuller, experience in our marriage.
1 John 3:18 – … let us not love not merely with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
That love for your spouse is the basis by which you live out that lifelong commitment.
Love has this desire to be shared.
Love has this need to be given away.
Love wants to be put to work in our marriage each and every day.
When it does, it better represent the fullness, the capability of what God has intended your marriage to be.
